Morrowind

This is the first blog I ever wrote, but as I begin to reinstall Morrowind and anticipate playing once again. I feel compelled to share my experiences the first time around. I've played many games, on the computer and consoles, but none come even close to the special place Morrowind holds for me. I remember the first time I started up the game, disappointed that my computer could not run Oblivion, but looking forward to enjoying at least one of Bethesda's works. I awoke from a strange dream inside a ship, with this weird green guy looking at me and asking if I was alright. The guard came down, and brought upside, where I then created my guy. I recall walking outside the Census office, and thinking, "Ok, so... now what? That's all I get, try to find some guy in Balmora, and that's it?" About 2 hours later I finally found the guy, only to be given a little bit of money and sent off on my way again. So I went and explored. I found a cave outside Seyda Neen, and was kicked out of there really fast by a couple of low level bandits. So I tried finding a few rats, and found out I couldn't hit them with my sword because I still had no idea how to use it. So I decided to use magic, and suddenly I felt like a hero. I killed my first rat, and then died to a giant flying freak called a cliff racer. lol Morrowind tested me in the first few hours that I played. As I learned more of the game and became more powerful, I traveled further, and explored more. My Breton was still getting beat up constantly, mostly because I was too impetuous, or because I forgot to stock up on restore magicka potions last time I was in town.
I never actually beat the full game. But I intend to this time. And maybe I'll keep a record of my Breton adventuress' travels here.
